The Business and Marketing Studio (TBMS), provides practical and creative solutions to the business challenges facing SMEs in terms of both traditional and online marketing channels in Ireland, UK and Europe.

Run by Lisa Scully-O'Grady who has international marketing and business experience from a blue chip corporate background, having launched, developed and managed brands within Thomson Reuters, Reed Elsevier and Mining Journal, she brings a process driven approach to the inherently creative marketing discipline. Throughout her career she has also successfully helped companies to turnaround ailing brands and businesses and totally understands the difficulties you may face from the inside out.

Passionate about marketing and communication, at both the strategic and operational levels, she is interested in how online media channels are changing our world at the grass roots level. Who knows what opportunities this will bring? The possibilities are endless. A keen social media enthusiast, she helps organisations to develop strategies and use these new networks to build customer relationships and brand awareness. She has been listed by WE magazine, in the US, in their list of 100 Women Bloggers to Watch for 2009. -->

Her other business interests include enhancing the role of women in business and she is regularly interviewed by journalists on this subject. In her capacity as one of the founder members of the Steering Group of Dublin Business Women's Skillnet she is committed to the training of women to give them the necessary skills to step up to leadership roles and sees DBWS as key in developing entrepreneurs of the future.

She is currently a member of the Irish Internet Association (IIA), The Marketing Institute (MII) and Women's Executive Network (WXN) amongst others.

She holds a degree in European Studies – Public Affairs with German, and has postgraduate qualifications in publishing and marketing from Ireland, Germany and the UK.

She has also trained as a facilitator, performance consultant and master results coach, holds a PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate (project management) and regularly updates her skills and knowledge.

She is often contacted by publishers and journalists to review books and has featured in national newspapers relating to women in business and negotiation skills.
